Reviews[edit]
Nitendo Power gave the Wii version an 8.0 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.220.69.38 (talk) 21:16, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
Status as Sequel, Interquel, or Prequel[edit]
I think the game would have to be an interquel as it does take place in the time line The Prince remembers. I don't see how it can be considered a sequel just because the original time line was changed. At the end of Two Thrones The Prince becomes King as his father is dead thus it could not take place after Two Thrones. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Van Redd (talk • contribs) 06:32, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
A minor error[edit]
Just to quickly notify editors of a minor error in the article. 'With Ubisoft's feature Uplay, players may unlock Ezio, the main character from Assassin's Creed II.' The statement is incorrect - players may unlock Ezio's costume with the Uplay platform, though the actual character model remains in the Prince's likeness, but does not become Ezio's likeness. The unlock is listed on Uplay as 'Ezio Costume' and the description is 'Play in Ezio's costume from Assassin's Creed II. Check the Extras menu to activate this costume'.[1][2]unsigned comment added by Kidnplay (talk • contribs) 06:32, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
Door Bug[edit]
I don't own this game, but apparently it has or had a door bug, where in hard mode a certain door doesn't open. this YouTube video has over 100 people thumbs upping 'Thumbs up if that son of a bitch door bug brang you here!' and pretty much all the other comments to the video appear to be about it. I searched this Wikipedia article for 'bug' and 'door' and got no matches. Maybe information about the door bug should be added to it, it's quite a big deal if a game like this has a major bug like that. --82.171.70.54 (talk) 02:49, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- Nope, bugs aren't notable unless commented on by a reliable source. Also, I think the door bug might be caused by a pirated version, but that might be my mistake. Thanks! Fin©™ 08:12, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- Myeah.. Here's what you could've also written: 'Yep, but only if commented on by reliable source(s).' Is there a reliable source? Probably. I get many hits via Google, but I don't feel like looking through them and figuring out what could be used. ;) (see the Google suggestions when typing 'Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands door' ..) --82.171.70.54 (talk) 23:16, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
- There is no 'door bug'. What people experience is related to Ubisoft DRM. The game offloads certain parts of the game to a server, the game requests those things at runtime; these parts can be anything that the developer wants. In this game it's levers logic, door timing, and so on. People that think they ran into a 'door bug' used a(n incomplete) crack. There is no 'door bug'. --82.170.113.123 (talk) 12:21, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
